Mali Elections Panel

On March 27th, the Institute of African Studies hosted a panel on current events in Mali, including the coup and the upcoming elections. The panelists were Susanna Wing (Haverford College), Jaimie Bleck (University of Notre Dame), Brandon County (Columbia University), Tiecoura Traore (trade unionist, Mali), and Manthia Diawara (New York University).

This panel discussion is part of the Institute of African Studies’ 2011-2012 series focusing on elections in Africa. It is sponsored by the Institute of African Studies, the School of International and Public Affairs, and SIPA Pan-African Network (SPAN).
