Denison Univ. Tenure Track Faculty Position

Denison University seeks an active artist/scholar who works within African Diaspora/Africanist traditions to join a vibrant dance program at a private liberal arts college. Successful candidates are expected to be excellent teachers, to maintain a productive, ongoing research agenda, and to contribute actively to the continued growth of the department and the college. Review of applicants will begin Nov. 17, 2017, and will continue until the position is filled.



Students of African languages are invited to apply for Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowships for summer (2014) and academic year (2014-2015) study of Zulu, Arabic, Swahili, or Wolof.



IAS Fellowship Opportunity for Second Year SIPA MIA/MPA students: each year, the IAS selects a SIPA MIA/MPA student in their second year to work as the Institute’s Program Assistant (also known as the Departmental Research Assistant). The position involves 15 hours per week of support throughout the academic year with event management and publicity. In exchange, the Program Assistant receives a stipend and financial support towards tuition. The competition for this fellowship is announced in the spring of every year.
